AB203 Complete Anti-peptide Antibody Package

This package uses a peptide as antigen. The sequence of the peptide is derived from the target protein.
This is the most popular package because it only requires target protein sequence to generate its
antibody. The critical part is antigen design. We provide free assistance for antigen design
Animal:
Package includes:
- Peptide synthesis (up to 15 aa)*
- A Cys will be added to one end of the peptide and the other end will be blocked
- Conjugation of peptide to carrier protein (KLH or others)
- Immunization of animals
- Partial purification of antibody
Customer receives :
- 3-5 mg peptide antigen (unconjugated)
- 1-3 ml pre-immune serum aliquots
- Partial purified antibody from 30-50 ml antiserum of each rabbit by ammonium sulfate
precipitation method. For antigen affinity or protein A purification, please

The package is same as AB203 except that it uses a purified protein as the antigen

- Protein antigen: 1-5 mg with suggested purity >90%. The sample can be either purified protein
or SDS gel strip. For purified protein, it should be submitted as lyopholized powder. For gel strip,
extra charge applies ($75). Protein sample with <90% purity is also acceptable at the cost of
reduced antibody quality, mainly specificity.

The package is same as AB203 except that customer providers the synthetic peptide. We do
conjugation and immunization.

SAB01 Complete Phospho-specific Antibody Package
|
|
This package delivers an antibody that recognizes a sequence with a phosphorylation site. The same
sequence with de-phosphorylation will not be recognized.

Package includes:
- Synthesis of a phosphorylated peptide (up to 15 aa and purity >90%) and a non-phosphorylated
version of the same peptide (purity >70%)
- Conjugation of the phodpho-peptide to a carrier protein (KLH or others)
- Immunization of animals
- Antibody purification by two affinity columns: phospho and non-phospho peptides. The purified
antibody is highly specific. It only recognizes phosphorylated site.
Customer receives :
- 1-3 mg of each peptide (un-conjugated)
- 1 ml pre-immune serum aliquots
- Affinity purified anti-phospho-peptide specific antibody that only react s with phosphorylated site
- ELISA results to both peptides and product certificate of analysis

This package produces an antibody that only recognize a specifically modified site. Peptide with the
same sequence but without the modification will not be recognized. The modification can be
methylation, acetylation or others. The development strategy is similar to phosphor specific antibody
